Intel’s 13th generation of Core CPUs dubbed Raptor Lake is scheduled in September or October. Information regarding ASRock’s upcoming motherboards leaked.
ASRock will release nine Z790 and three H770 motherboards, of which four will support DDR4 memory, according to VideoCardz. The list lacks a flagship Aqua model, but it does include Taichi, Pro RS, Phantom Gaming Lightning, and Riptide models, as well as a Steel Legend H770 board and a pair of -C versions, which are likely inexpensive boards based on the Z790 chipset. Phantom Gaming will release a DDR4 and DDR5 board. No further features have been announced, and the Z790 won’t be much different from the Z690. 13th-generation Core CPUs’ additional PCIe lanes should enable PCIe 5.0. This allows faster NVMe M.2 disks.
